HighStreet 5 made a spectacular appearance at the SITEX exhibition held at the Singapore Expo, which ran for four days from Nov 29th to Dec 2nd 2007. Our booth welcomed more than 60, 000 visitors over the exhibition period and due to high demand, we distributed all of our allocated 8,000 HighStreet 5 Installation DVDs quickly, making them difficult to find on the last day. For those who did not manage to get the DVD, please note that more than 20 distributors and 300 stores nationwide are now carrying the HighStreet 5 Installation DVD. The HighStreet 5 Singapore team manned the exhibition booth, which took hours for them to prepare. Below are pictures when the team had just finished setting up the booth, which included a large 42Ħħ display screen, two laptop computers and a top quality sound system. While it looks quiet here, it was just the quiet before the storm..?
We welcomed all sorts of people into the booth, with students and young adults forming the bulk of our traffic. The team spent hours talking to our visitors, explaining to them how to play the game as well as letting them have hands-on experience playing the game. We had an enthusiastic response with some of our younger visitors asking to be GameMasters in HighStreet 5 and parents taking DVDs back for their children.
Following the exhibition, we recorded a sharp and consistent increase in the number of registered HighStreet 5 accounts. We have many future events planned for HighStreet 5 in Singapore, and we are extremely excited as we move full steam ahead onto the open beta.
